Stephanie Cyr (NBC-HWC) is the founder of PowerUp Moves, a personal development program focused on establishing and improving healthy safety habits. As Faculty Lecturer of Personal Defense at San Francisco State University, she developed the first University Accredited Minor Degree in Empowerment Self Defense. She is also the author of The PowerUp Moves Notebook, an interactive empowerment self-defense higher education textbook. With her background as both an attorney and educator, Stephanie brings a unique perspective to personal safety education, emphasizing both physical and emotional aspects of self-defense.
